In the Hollow

In the Hollow

Hollow me, Lord.

Scoop out the filth I once thought treasure;

Dislodge the rocks that block the tomb of my heart.

Hallow me, Lord.

Sanctify what remains, holy relics

Unveiled after years of doubt.

Harbor me, Lord.

Shield this tentative temple you’ve carved, and

In the hollow of your hand I’ll worship you.
